Facial Aesthetics

We offer anti wrinkle treatments that smooth the fine lines around the eyes and forehead. The end result aims to make you look and feel younger.

The treatment generally takes between ten and twenty minutes and the effects will begin to appear in two to three days, however the full extent of the treatment may not be evident for up to two weeks.

Tiny injections of Purified Botulinum relax the muscles of the face allowing the lines to smooth out.

Many of our patients find that our wrinkle reducing treatments are great alternatives to invasive surgical procedures such as face lifts and eye lifts. Although the treatment is temporary, it does eliminate wrinkles for up to four months and can be repeated to maintain the desired effect.

Chemical Peels

A superficial chemical peel is a minimally invasive procedure in which an acid-based solution is applied to the face to remove dead skin cells.

The solution is removed after several minutes, revealing smoother more refined looking skin with improved texture and tone.

At Kirkcudbright Dental Surgery we use Obagi Blue Peel Radiance®. A series of peels is advised for the best overall results.

The procedure is quick and easy to apply with little or no downtime.

Please contact the Practice to discuss your needs for this treatment and other Facial Aesthetic treatments we offer.
